Honey

Ripe cantaloupe, seeded, peeled and cubed

(about 4 cups)

1 ea.

Lime, juiced and zest

6 ea.

Small paper or Styrofoam cups

Prep

  1. Cut cantaloupe in half, save one half for snacking. Remove seeds, peel and cubed the other half.
  2. Measure water and honey

Instructions

  1. Combine the water and honey in a small saucepot. Bring to a simmer.
  2. Once the honey is melted, remove from heat and cool.
  3. In a blender, combine cantaloupe, lime jice, lime zest and honey syrup to taste. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour mixture into the paper cups, stopping about ¼ inch from the top.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and place in freezer
  6. After 2 hours of freezing time, insert sticks into the slushy popsicles.
  7. Continue to freeze for 4 hours or until completely frozen.
  8. To eat, tear the paper cup away form the pop!
